What Causes Palpitations With Dizziness And Breathing Difficulty?

I'm 15 and over the last 2 years or so, I've had these heart problems where sometimes there comes a moment where I just cant be able to breathe at a normal pace. My heart beats really fast. I also feel really dizzy. I try breathing but I just cant. Should I be concerned?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

The first step is to see a Cardiologist. Irregular heartbeats need to be DOCUMENTED by ElectroCardioGram (EKG). Standard ECG records the electrical activity of the heart, for a few seconds. It can detect the arrhythmia occurring during that time only. If the episode occurs randomly or precipitated by a specific activity like exercise, one needs Holter or event monitor.

Take care
Good luck
