What Causes Palpitations At Night?

Good afternoon - I am a 55 year old woman in good health, with no conditions currently under medication. I am experiencing pounding heartbeat for extended period of time, especially at night when I try to go to sleep, but also right now in the middle of the afternoon. I have no history of heart trouble. I am under considerable stress but that is not unusual. should I be concerned?

Dear patient
your palpitations are directly related to stress behaviour pattern. Undue stress leads to increased sympathetic activity and activation of beta receptor at heart with increased heart activities. This manifest itself with palpitations. Please take tab alprax 0.25mg at bedtime. Avoid stress. counselling with psychiatrist would be recommended.
