What Causes Pale Blood And Fatigue?

Just got back from dentist. He stated to me, after pulling a tooth, that it appeared to him I have very thin and pale blood.. I am not on any blood thinners and have never had any problems with my blood.
Could this be a possible reason for having low energy for about the past two months?
