What Causes Painful Urination While On Alfuzosin?
My husband has bladder cancer and had the tumor removed - he will have to go through chemo for 4 rounds then surgery to remove the bladder and prostate - currently he is on a medication called Alfuzosin once a day - he has very painful times urinating (every hour) and can not sit or lay down comfortably - I have a call in with the doctor - should he stop taking this?

I am sorry for this situation but I think the pain doesn't come from Alfuzosin.
I think pain comes from widespread cancer to the sacral nerves causing this pain. I think only chemotherapy and surgery can help relieve pain.
