What Causes Painful Swollen Wrist?

I think I might have broken my scaphoid. I can hardly move my thin and it hurts most to toich below to my thumb. That area is swollen a little. I can t grasp anything and also can t move my hand back or forth at all. My parents don t believe me and won t take me to a doctor.

After going through your query I concluded that you may be having scaphoid fracture. It is confirmed by x ray wrist AP and oblique views. It needs immobilization by plaster.
