What Causes Painful Swelling Of Labia Minora?

my daughter is 15 and a virgin her labia minora is more swollen then any i have ever seen. When she told me it hurt I looked and she had a large amount of white discharge. After talking to her she informed me it had been irritated for quite a while. I bought a yeast infection test kit at walgreens and those results did indicate a yeast infection. I gave her monistate 1 but they are so swollen i am extremely worried and she is very imbarrased how long could this take to go away

Hi,
From history it seems that along with yeast infection there might be having bacterial infection.
Due to itching and poor local hygiene there might be having this super added infection giving rise to swelling and cellulitis.
She might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days as well.
Apply triple action cream locally.
Keep local hygiene clean, dry and airy.
Ok and take care.
