What Causes Painful Sores In The Armpit?

for the last several weeks I have been getting sores under my armpit, at first I thought it was ingrown hair,l but then they looked more like spider bites., I had three under my left armpit,.after about 4 days they got heads on them and when squeezed out came a yellow chicken fat substance.. they went away and a week later under my right armpit came 7 of them same thing, so painful I could hardly lift my arm, burning stinging, until they were popped then it subsided and they are going away . today three more appeared under the right arm

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
