What Causes Painful Sores Around The Vagina?

Hello, Wednesday night I noticed some skin irritation and discomfort neat my vagina. Over this weekend I have had a few flat white sores occur on my Perineum that are rubbing when I walk.These are white/yellow in color and cause a lot of pain due to their area. I m am not experiencing any discharge or pain with actual urination. The sore themselves don t look like they contain anything my Gyno is not open on the weekends and I plan on calling Monday for an appointment, I just need to know what actions to take to help relieve burning and pain till Monday.

Hi,

Possibility of skin infection due to perspiration and poor hygiene is more likely. So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.

1. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
2. Avoid moisture and perspiration in private parts.
3. Keep proper hygiene of private parts.
4. Wear cotton undergarments only.
5. Take painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen and acetaminophen for pain relief.
