Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Age# 33, weight#65, height# 5f. 5inc. I am suffering a pain on my leg finger skin and pain is severe stage for two weeks. Skin color become bit rad. Even i can not walk and give stess on foot. The exect area is near to middle finger of my right leg. I am working in Agrobacterium labratory. I am so much worried whether it happed by any Agrobacteria infection. Pls any doctor can help me in this regard.
If the affected skin is around finger-nails, then, could be related to infection of nail bed (soft tissue). If there is any discharge, I advise to culture the swab or discharge for pathogenic bacteria.
Depending on the tests results, specific treatment will be prescribed.
Meanwhile, I advise to soak the affected leg in warm to hot water with potassium permaganate. If no improvement, should consult with dermatologist for further evaluation.
You can send a photo of the affected skin to me for more accurate advice! Wish fast recovery! Dr.Albana
