What Causes Painful Red Blotches On Palms And Hands?
I have little red blotches developing in the palms of my hands and the sides of my forefingers. I have a feeling of pins and needles in my fingers particularly when I curl my fingers up into fists. There is also a slight feeling of numbness in my my fingers

You are experiencing numbness and tingling in your fingers and have also developed red blotches on the palms and hands. It can be due to scabies, urticaria, dermatitis, viral infection, etc. You are suggested to protect your palm and fingers from further infections. Do not scratch, to get relief from discomfort you can take Cetirizine / Benadryl.
Applying cool compresses on affected areas is helpful, you can also apply Calamine lotion or hydrocortisone cream on it. Stay away from anything that causes allergies and side effects of medicines. Stay away from foods that cause intolerance, sun exposure, cold, excessive sweating, exercise, etc.
Tingling and numbness (pins and needles) may be indicative of neuropathy. Get clinically examined by a dermatologist, if needed you will be referred to a neurologist. Stay away from addictions if any.
