What Causes Painful Lumps At The Back Of Forearm?

i found a pea size lump on the back of my right forearm 3 days ago, today I have 3 lumps-1 the size of a quarter and 2 the size of almonds, they are painful when pressed upon, there is no external lesion or indication of the lumps from looking at them, the lumps are hard and seem attached to the muscle underneath

General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. The mass you are having can be fibroma. If fibroma then it is benign and nothing to worry about it. It should be examined by a general surgeon to rule out this. If it is hard and causing pain then should be excised surgically and send for histopathology examination.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
