What Causes Painful Lump On Leg?

I have a lump, the size of a pea, on the back side of my right leg, just left of my knee. Lump is felt while standing and painful to touch. Have had for about 10 weeks. Saw my primary care doctor a few weeks ago, at that time, lump was not there (where you could feel it). Prescribed an anti inflammatory medication which has not helped. Thoughts?
