General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Given your symptoms, it is important to rule out any malpositioning of IUD and pelvic infections. Vaginal examination, vaginal swab, and culture are required as the initial evaluation. So please be advised to follow up with your ObGyn at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
