I received the Depo shot July 9 (it was due July 6th) and ended up developing a sterile abscess and they said the shot was most likley not absorbed. My husband and I had unprotected sex that weekend, the end of july/beginning of August, as well as the beginning of september. I have been having painful cramps, intermittently over the past month, lower back pain, my breasts, mainly nipples, can be very sore but not all the time, just sometimes here and there. Along with this I have spotting. It is a dark brown color and comes for about 1-2 days and then leaves, and this has happened twice over the past 3 weeks. Should I be concerned about taking a pregnancy test or is this normal?
