I am 35Yrs old and awhile back believe I strained my right pectoral muscle on incline bench press. I took about 2wks off from any chest workouts and it felt better so gradually started to work it out again. Cant get back to full strength lifting heavy on bench as it seems to flare up and im afraid of a full tear. Also to note about 4 months prior strained my left pectoral on bench. Took a wk off weight lifting and Now my right Pectoral has been hurting alot as if it was strained again. Been icing and massaging it and oddly to me a swollen bump appeared first on my right pectoral and after more icing went down but still remains two small pimple like bumps where my shoulder and chest muscle meets. Now I also have a lump underneath my armpit which is painful when it is pressed on and my pectoral muscle dont seem to be gaining recovery as I still feel pain anytime I utilize certain motions that require tension on those muscles both left and right. I am at a lost on treatment to achieve full recovery so I can get back to lifting heavy as normal. Please advise.
