What Causes Painful And Itching Knot Near Nipple?

The right side of my boyfriends nipple started swelling to where there is a knot and is itching and hurting. He woke up this morning and still had swelling,itching and pain however here at almost 2 p.m. he squeezed it and now fluid is coming out of both nipples. What could cause this?

thank-you user for your queryPossible causes of nipple discharge include: Abscess, Breast cancer, Breast infection, Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS)
Excessive breast stimulation, Fibroadenoma — a solid, Galactorrhea, Hormone imbalance, Injury or trauma to the breast, Intraductal papilloma
Mammary duct ectasia, Medication use, Paget's disease of the breast, Prolactinoma..
Kindly mention the type of secretions coming for your boyfriend's breast. You can start taking ciptooxacin 500mg twice daily for five days and fexo fenafinadiene once daily.
Kindly visit any surgeon as he will examine it and ask for necessary investigations.
For your more information you can get an hormone profile and a biopsy of the breast as these will be helpful to zero down to some diagnosis.
