What Causes Pain While Swallowing After A Small Bone Was Eaten?

Yesterday I was eating some chicken and small bone went down my throat. I rushed to the ER where they did an X ray and they saw nothing in my throat so the bone will pass. Today, my throat feels like it is something in there. I hurts when I swallow and can t eat anything. Is there anything I can do for the pain and/or take the swelling down?

Hi
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
These symptoms can be because of injury to the throat caused by the bone piece.
This requires examination by your ENT doctor and treatment depending on the cause.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for further treatment.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Please do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
