What Causes Pain Underneath Left Scapula?

Hi. I have a grade one ac seperation its been a little over a week thus far in a sling. I have to sleep on my back as well obviously. However, not experiencing so much pain in the ac area but a significant amount of pain in what feels like underneath my left scapula. What could this be? Just tight muscle from compensating the injury or from having to sleep in the uncomfortable manner that is with a sling? Is there a way to stretch that Re without imposing to much for on the ac seperation?

Hi,

Topical analgesic flexal ultra plus will help symptomatically also comes in spray form, not more than week [X-ray shoulder joint and if needed other imaging techniques can tell] MRI is good sometimes few muscle fibers are lacerated not seen by X-ray.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
