I am a 20 year old female. I am a bit overweight, but not obese in anyway. I have had problems with my ribs for years now. It has gotten much worse as the years progress. My ribs are fine except when they are touched, especially if any pressure is put on them. It is a searing stabbing pain that makes me double over in agony. I never had any damage to my ribs or chest area. I had an ultrasound of my chest done for a different reason and I was in agony the entire time. I thought it was normal, but apparently it isn t? I tried to look it up online, but websites only mention constant rib pain (which I don t have. It only happens when they are touched or pressure is applied), or pain under the ribs (which, again, I do not have). Any suggestions?
