I am female, 38 yrs, health good. 2 weeks ago I awoke with a pain under the bottom of right rib cage, painful, went to pcp and she said go to er,went to er today and after 8 long hours, and no test results or ct scan, I left ama, the er believes it is appendicitis, the pain went from, rib cage pain, to swelling in rib cage area and abdominal swelling, now pain is stabbing, sharp, also skin in that area has a weird numb feeling and hardening feeling, pain is going lower down in body, also, nausea, and acid reflux during sleep, no blood in stool per test, or fever I am aware of, going to try tomorrow for er again, how worried should I be and what is the treatment for this? Surgery only?
