What Causes Pain On The Tragus?

I have pain when I touch near my right tragus. It also really hurts when I open my mouth or move my jaw from side to side. I do not have my tragus pierced. I have had this before but usually it goes away after a day or two.. Do you have any idea what causes it? I did not go swimming.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having some infection in your external ear or having lax TMjoint muscles giving this problem.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Ok and take care.
