Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The tip of my nose is extremely sore to the touch. It seems to be on the inside (toward the middle) area of my right nostril, right at the tip. It s slightly red and very sore to the touch. This has occurred before. I ve used antibiotic cream and it got better.
I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your painful nasal furancle.
As per your history you seem to have furancle on the tip of the nose. Because there is less connective tissue on nasal tip so it becomes more painful at slight inflammation.
You can get a betathexone plus gentamycin combination cream which will be helpful in reducing the pain.
You don't need to worry much, it will even reduce because of its own within a week. Don't scratch it too much it may lead to spread of infection.
Hope my answer will help you and you will write to us if you feel any need in future.
Regards Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
