What Causes Pain On The Testicles Without Injury?

For a few days now, my testicles have hurt just very slightly. It s little enough that I don t notice it most of the day, but it s just always there... just a hint of aching feeling. Is this normal? There was no injury or weird clothes or activities.

Thanks!
Dear patient testicular pain without any injury usually affects adolescents and adults. It may be due to blood born infection(orchitis, epididymitis),sexually transmitted diseases, tumour, kidney stone(referred pain),inguinal hernia etc.As far as your symptoms are concerned they are non specific and of not much concern at this stage. If progresses(becomes worse) then you should consult a general surgeon ,in the meanwhile Brufen(Ibuprofen 400 mg 8 hourly with Zinetac(Ranitidine 150 mg 12 hourly) for few days may suffice.
Feel free to ask more.
