What Causes Pain On The Sternum While Suffering From Atrial Flutter?

I have been the er last Thursday and Friday. Atrial Flutter. I have now had my meds increased before I can get into the Dr to see if I can have an Ablation. I have had the Cardioversion. I am having pain on the right side of my sternum. Eliquis, Flecinide and Metropola are medications I am taking. I am tired of going to er to be sent home. Is this normal pain for atrial flutter?

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

Yes, it might happen that after a serious condition of atrial flutter the patient feels tired along with chest discomfort. You do not need to go to the ER. Just try to relax and continue the treatment correctly, and with time passing, you will feel better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
