What Causes Pain On The Right Leg From The Buttocks To Knees?

My 76yr old husband has been complaining about a pain in side of his right leg. Starting in his buttock area & radiating down the side of his leg, all the way to his knee. I myself have suffered with sciatica, so I am wondering if that might be his problem too.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your husband symptoms seem to be related to sciatica pain.

I suggest using painkillers such as Ibuprofen to treat the pain.

I also suggest doing stretching exercises for relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
