29y F. Been having pain on left side of my lower abdomen and bloating (not always at same time) off and on for 3ish years. I get the pain almost every day, just changes in how painful it is. It's become a norm for me to feel it. I swear I'm not constipated, but docs keep telling me that I should eat probiotics and excersise more. Tried the probiotic yogurt thing, it didn't help. And, I excersise as much as my tired body can take it. But I generally have BM's every day, often twice, and the pain is not contingent on those occasional times when I do miss a day. I recently fasted in an attempt to help what I figure is my bowels, but I only lasted for 5 days and every day my side still hurt. I can never get in as much info to a doc when I see them as I want to, and then when I do, and I blood tests where half the sheet it checked off, and it comes back that I should be perfectly healthy (minus the iron), I just get to pissy. I have no indicators of high inflamation.
I have taken herbal supplements a couple times for parasites, ParaGone specifically. Twice taking them I saw small whitish things in my stools, but most recent time I didn't see much. (Was over half a year ago now though. )My stools tend to be pale (I figure it's the low iron) and soft. My soft stools are often pitted, like there was something stuck in them that didn't come out with everything else. The holes range from round, maybe 1/4 cm diameter to more oblong shapes of same diameter.
My b12 levels are normal but only because I take pills, and my iron is low, but not low enough to be anaemic in either. (I take iron pills too.) I have had depression for 10 years, although the past few I swear that I mentally feel fine when I physically feel fine. Not so much depression as I just can't do what I want to. So sick of needing afternoon naps. I generally eat healthy but I overeat. I figure I must have an absorption problem, but what it is or how I can get rid of it, I have no idea. This past year I started to eat a lot less meat for personal reasons unrelated to health, but with my low iron and b12, I've started to eat more again. I have some peripheral neuropathy, but again, no reason why. I don't have diabates, get that tested all the time because that's what docs first think.
sorry if I double-posted.
