Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain pain on left side of face along with pain in jaw can be due to causes like
tooth infection or
cracked tooth syndrome, that leads to cracks in the tooth that can reach upto the nerve causing
nerve irritation and pain...
Another common cause can be Unilateral Jaw Joint Problem also known as Temporomandibular joint dysfunction, commonly referred to as TMJ/TMD..
So first of all it has to be evaluated, that what is the exact cause for the pain..
I would advise you to consult an Oral Physician or an Oral surgeon and get a Panoromic
x ray done that will over all your teeth as well as jaw joints so that the exact cause will be ruled out..
In case if you have cracks in your sensitive tooth then most probably the cracks might be deep enough to irritate the nerves and causing pain..
So an x ray of the tooth with changing angulations can help in ruling out the depth of cracks and if the tooth is culprit..
If it is the case then either
root canal treatment or extraction can help..
As of now taking painkillers like
Ibuprofen can be continued although it will provide only temporary relief..
Hope this helps..
