What Causes Pain On The Left Side Of Neck?

Over the past 2-3 weeks, I have experienced pain on the left side of my neck below my ear, sometime moving up toward teh baack of my ear. It feels better when I massage it lightly but it returns everyday. I have Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, and my Cholesterol is 209. I have lost 23 lbs since January, 2015.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such pain could be due to stiffness of neck muscle and it nothing to do any thing with diabetes, if I would be doctor od this case then I would treat this case with "Tab Chlorzoxazone with Diclofenac 50 mg" once in day try to low down the stress, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
