What Causes Pain On The Heel Of The Foot?

I have a pain under the ball of my right foot. My foot is ok to walk on for a while but to much walking causes the ache/pain to flair up.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The pain may be related to injury to the soft tissue in that area. This can occur as a result of a particular shoe wear or other trauma to the foot.

It would be important to stay off of the foot as much as possible. Wear comfortable shoes with a padding for the affected area.

The use of anti inflammatory pain medication such as naproxen, ibuprofen, cataflam, would also help if you can use one of these.

If the pain continues or worsens then you should see your doctor

I hope this helps
