Hi...
If I were you then I would first get an x-Ray done..
I would like to be sure that nothing wrong with the bone after the fall..
I would do the following as well for speedy recovery ..
Keep frequent ice.. 15 mins for every 2 hours once..
keep it compresed with ankle support or with crepe bandage..
keep it elevated..
No
massage untill I am sure that no bony
injury happened...
if I am sure I would slowly knead my calf and muscles aling the outer side of leg...and ice them up as well.....
once pain gets reduced then I will start rehab of ankle....start slowly with mild calf raises...pushing the sand bag away from the body..pushing the sand bag towards the other leg...keeping it ontop of foot and lifting my toes up...
also do...pelvic bridging.. clamshell...standing on single leg with eys closed.. standing in single leg trying to reach the toes ...
Hope this is helpful for you
Revert back incase you need any further clarification...
wish you a speedy recovery..
