What Causes Pain On Lateral Side Of The Spine Upon Bending?
i had an xray taken of my lumbar spine & had a chiropractor look at it. he said i have a malformed vertebrae . i dont remember what number lumbar it was but there are times i have pain mainly on my righ lateral side & bending & straightening up & walking become difficult. i am 61. is this something that willworsen & will i need to try to get disability?

I really appreciate your concern, it could be muscle spasm and if it want to rule out for the spine disease then it is advisable to get done the MRI test till then you can try Tab Chlorzoxazone with Diclofenac once in day, else it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
