What Causes Pain In Vaginal Opening After Having Unprotected Sex?

I ve had unprotected sex in the past week, I felt fine until 3 days after. I ve had strep 3 times since June and had mono last summer. I figured that this is why I felt so shitty. well 3 days after I had unprotected sex, the skin right below the opening of my vagina hurts severely and is more red then normal. it doesn t hurt when I pee but constantly has a burning sensation. I figured it was from being so tensed up from having the chills and getting sick but now I m not so sure.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Pain near the opening of vagina could be due to a mild abrasion, tear, injury or ulcer due to STD.
It could not be seen by you. A doctor who can examine you may be able to tell the exact problem. Old infection of MONO, Streptococcus has no role in the pain over your genitals. Dr S.Murugan
