What Causes Pain In Upper Stomach?

A stool test indicated that I have H. pylori infection, I ve been taking omeprazole, amoxicillin and clarithromycin as prescribed for 10 days. However, I ve been experiencing worse GERD-related problems such as pain in my upper stomach/esophagus, tightness in my chest, and difficulty in breathing. I suffer from asthma so it feels very similar to it but with the difference that my asthma medications will not do anything to alleviate this discomfort. Should I be worried? Could it be an ulcer? and if so will it heal with time?

Hi.
Tanks for an elucidate history. The GERD treatment is going on nicely, you have take antacid and Domperidone in addition to the already taking medicines. Once the GERD is controlled , it will be easy to control asthma too.
Get the following investigation done - CBC, Urine ,X-ray chest, upper GI Endoscopy, stool examination in detail, All these will help in a proper diagnosis as for the real status and a proper treatment accordingly.
