What Causes Pain In Toes Upon Pressure And Bruised Feeling In Thigh?

The inside of my thigh just above the knee feels bruised when bending my knee or especially going up and down stairs, there is no visible bruising. The pain also occurs if I press my toes into the ground or forward as if pushing off to slide a chair backward.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I think You are suffering from early osteoarthritis of both knee joint as you are having pain specially going up and down stairs. You need further investigation by x ray of both knee joints in standing position. Analgesics such as diclofenac slow release tablets is helpful in pain relief. Diacerinre and glucosmine sulfate protect cartilage from breakdown and help in cartilage regeneration. Quadriceps exercises is started after pain relief. Serum vitamin D test is advised and if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required. You can discuss with your treating doctor. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care. .
