What Causes Pain In Throat While Swallowing After I Heard A Snap In My Head?

Hello Dr. Grief, I felt a snap or pop on the upper top right side of my head a few weeks ago. And now I have a stinging sensation in the same area and when I swallow I sometimes have a severe pain in the right side of my throat. Please tell me if this is serious. Thank you.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
The snap may be the rubbing of the jaw joint leading to a condition called temporomandibular joint arthritis. Please meet your dentist for confirming this and further treatment. Thanks
