What Causes Pain In The Upper Stomach And Bloating?

I am a 66 year old female, my upper stomach hurts, it feels full and bloated, I exercise daily, I haven t eaten much food in the last week or so because I m trying to lose my tummy fat, but I feel as though I need to use a laxative or something along those lines, but I don t want to put anything in my mouth, liquid or food because it makes it feel fuller, It hurts my stomach to sit casual on a chair or sofa, I have to stretch my torsal to take some of the pain away. I feel clostephobic I have the bloating and I feel as though it should come out and not closed in, I don t know if this is a panic type attack, but 3 weeks ago, I had this same feeling plus I feel like I need to throw up to relieve the pressure in my stomach. I am 5 4 and weigh approx. 129

Hello,

Abdominal bloating is when the abdomen feels full and tight. It commonly occurs due to a buildup of gas somewhere in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Bloating causes the belly to look larger than usual, and it may also feel tender or painful. Fluid retention in the body can also lead to bloating.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
