General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There are many causes of pain in the upper right abdomen.

One of the common causes in our daily practice is appendicitis.

I suggest doing an abdominal ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis.

Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
