General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern. Pain in the toes can be caused by local problems such as disorders of the bones, joints, nerves in the area of the toe, for example due to collision (trauma). Common causes of toe pain, such as:
1. Diabetes
2. Peripheral artery disease, such as blockage in the blood vessels of the area
3. Trauma or injury
4. Inflammation of joints (arthritis), accompanied by symptoms of swelling, redness, and stiffness in the joints

Unconscious movements of the fingers may be caused by a number of possibilities, such as tremor, athetosis (unconsciousness triggered by emotional stress, etc.). To be sure, you can consult a doctor/ neurologist so that the cause is clearly known. Sometimes medical examinations are required:
1. Blood tests
2. X-rays examination

Some tips for you:
1. Avoid consumption of alcohol, coffee or smoking
2. Reduce stress with relaxation therapy such as yoga, meditation
3. Maintain ideal weight

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nurul Falah
