What Causes Pain In The Toes?

Why do my toes hurt? On my right foot, 2nd and 3rd toe has hurt for months. Like a rug burn. I thought it was because of the slippers I was wearing with a foe fur on the inside top but I have stopped wearing them and they still hurt. I do not have a rash, my toes are not red, no blisters. My toes are a little bit knuckley..I have small feet with bunions from wearing small shoes when I was younger.

Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone trough your query and I can understand your concerns.
It could be due to early stages of gout. Consult a physician and check your uric acid level.
As of now you can use simple analgesics like ibuprofen or aceclofenac.
Thanks
