I am an 18 year old girl and for the past few months I have been experiencing pain in my outer left thigh when I lie down. It wasn t too bad but recently it has gotten worse and it is extremely painful when I try to move my left leg while lying down. I have no idea what it could be... Would you be able to help?

Hi, Thanks for asking. I understand your concern. Your symptom suggest nurigenic pain due. ro sciatica... pressure on sciatuc nerve while it passes through sciatic notch . &apeciall n turning to side (causing contrction of pyriformis muscle which presses over the nerve. Treatment is medicines & phyosiotherapy. Pl. Consult orthopedic surgeon. Thanks.
