What Causes Pain In The Testicles?

Hey there, I have been experiencing pain in my testicles for about a month now. I have been in the hospital for a few days, the ER three times, and have seen two urologists. After four different ultrasounds and a CT scan, the only thing that has been detected has been a varicocele on the left side. All of my blood work, urine cultures, STD tests have come back negative. Is it possible that my varicocele, which seems to be rather minor in size, is causing my pain? I feel a constant, aching pain in my left testicle, and half of the time I feel it in the right one too. Should I be considering a varicocelectomy to relieve my pain? I don t know what else it could be at this point, and I m feeling so depressed and frustrated. My pain level is always a constant 5-6/10. Please help me.
