What Causes Pain In The Shoulder Blade On The Back?

For several years I have had a pain in my upper back shoulder blade area. I also have partial complex seizures. I have noticed every time the pain flares up is when I have a seizure. I am just wondering if maybe I have a pinched nerve and could a pinched nerve cause a seizure

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen three tablets a day.

I also recommend to immobilize the area and use cool compresses for relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
