Hello, my recent mri shows a Broad-based disc osteophyte complex that abuts and deforms the ventral cord causing at least a mild central stenosis It also states, The left foramen is moderately narrowed on the right foramen is mild to moderately narrowed. I have a fusion at c6-c7 done in 2005 I also recently started having ulnar neuropathy and an emg showed pinched nerve at c8..however the MRI only states that there is a mild disc osteophyte complex without central stenosis. Foramina are patent. I am having neck and shoulder pain..heavy arm feelings when I wake up but nothing radiating to my thumb..only the ulnar neuropathy as far as my fingers go..trying to make sense of this and wondering how serious this is in terms of more surgery. I also have a broad based disc osteophyte complex at c4-c5 without significant central stenosis. Foramina are minimally narrowed..I am even having a little tingling in my face here and there..have had brain mri for that as well..including ekg..I m guessing it s related to my neck also..
