What Causes Pain In The Roof Of The Mouth After Taking Adderall?

Hi. I was prescribed Adderall a few days ago for ADD and I haven't eaten much of anything sine then because of the appetite reduction... But when I tried eating today, the far back of the roof of my mouth begins to hurt like as if the skin or muscles or something is very tense or raw. This is the first thing I've eaten all day and I'm just concerned and looking for answers because the pain is a bit annoying and it gets worse with every swallow of food. I can drink liquids fine and I have an easy time breathing, so I don't think it's throat swelling. It feels like it's more on the far back of my mouth of the roof.

It seems that there is inflammation at the back of roof of mouth that can be due to causes like throat infection, acid reflux, post nasal drip, burning with hot foods etc..

I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles..
You can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
Do antiseptic mouthwash gargles..
Avoid hot and spicy food..
Take a soft and semi solid diet..
Drink plenty of water..

In case of no improvement consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated...
