Hi,

There can be several reasons for that: Gout from uric acid, osteoarthritis, obesity putting weight on joint, trauma any time in life. Though your history is not clear, hope you will assess yourself first to rule out trauma, obesity.

You may need further evaluation for possibility of gout and osteoarthritis or damage from trauma and for that radiograph is also needed. If you have pain also in any food then it can be strongly gout. I hope you will visit soon to nearby hospital to get yourself examined.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
