What Causes Pain In The Lower Chest?
I Have been having a lot of pain in the center of my chest,just below my breastbone and the pain radiates in back is cramp like pain .my doctor has done tests to check out my heart and didn t find a problem.He thinks maybe acid refluxe but nothing I ve tried, to reduce acid has helped.I am a 64 year female .I have diabetes, suffered a stroke in 2000.My gallbladder has been removed. I have blood pressure issues.I am a smoker.

It can be gastritis or acid reflux like an issue.
I suggest you take an antacid for that.
If no improvement than ultrasonography can be done for further workup.
If you have taken any medicine then mention it.
