What Causes Pain In The Lower Back After Lifting A Heavy Object?

I lifted a piano that got a wheel caught on a door jam. It was approx over 500 pounds. As I lifted I heard a loud pop and buckled my knees. Severe pain in mid lower back with radiation across both flanks that was a severe burning sensation. I took 4 advil and used Icy hot. Pain is still pretty bad with radiation across both sides. Did I tear something ?

could b because of cord prolapse secondary to weight bearing,damage nerve root causing serve pain radiate to lower legs..u have to do rest and use some tramal type painkiller and observe..if pain persist more then month then sciatica could b possibility..
