What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen On The Left Side?
Hello. I hope that you re having a good day. I m just curious about my symptoms because my doctor isn t telling me very much I have had ribbon thin bowel movements for two years now, gurgling in the lower left corner with pain at times. Nausea and chills but no fever that I m aware of. I ate popcorn before New Years Eve and was in excruciating pain in my upper right side for hours but the severe pain went away the next day however it s still sore today. I had 7 bowel movements yesterday and I just plain don t feel good. Absolutely no energy whatsoever. I just cleaned the bathroom which I do weekly so not a big mess to clean and I sweated so bad that I am totally soaked and feel faint. I am also recovering from a year of extreme stress and dealing with PTSD and pot I m two weeks off of pot. I don t know what my body is doing but it s frustrating!!!!!!!
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
* As there is long term pain with ribbon bowel movements, possible underlying intestine pathology in terms of narrowing, inflammation, tumor or others is a strong suspicious.
*I recommend to undertake a colonoscopy at earliest after discussion with your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
