What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Smelly Stool?
Hi Doctor, For the last two days I have been having a normal stool in the mornings and a second stool in the afternoons which is mushy and foul smelling accompanied with pain in the lower abdominal section of the stomach. Normally I have one stool a day. I am 69 years old. What could be the reason for this and what medication should I take?

abdominal pain with smelly stool is of concern for having bowel infection most probably.. go for laboratory reports for stool r & m and culture examination..
take medicines according to reports..
