Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve not had much exercise in quite a while. I took my dogs on a mountain trail walking two days ago. I walked my strong and vigorous bloodhound for about a mile on a mountain park trail. He tugs hard. I had no problems yesterday but today I ve had pain in my lower abdomen and hips. With the one day gap between the activity and this symptom, could this be associated with him dragging me along the trail? If I sit too long, I can hardly stand up. Pain is general and not specific
"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this-
Take OTC painkiller [ibuprofen]for pain with [pantoprazole]and it will go away within few days.
For prevention in future you can do like this-
Do regular stretching and strengthening exercises for your sport, fitness or work activity, as part of an overall physical conditioning program, can help to minimize your risk of sprains and strains. If you have a physically demanding occupation, regular conditioning can help prevent injuries. You can protect your joints in the long term by working to strengthen and condition the muscles around the joint that has been injured. Also, use footwear that offers support and protection.
Hope that helps
